IFSC (Indian Financial System Code) is a unique code that is assigned by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to identify bank branches participating in the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) system. It is a 11-digit code with the first four characters representing the bank code, the next character is 0 (zero), and the last six characters represent the bank branch.
